Norman sings two roles at Houston Grand Opera this October
Norman Reinhardt has been announced as the replacement tenor for Stephen Costello who has had to bow out of Houston Grand Opera’s upcoming production of Cosi fan tutte due to illness.
He will take over the role of Ferrando, one of two young men who don disguises to test their sweethearts’ fidelity. Norman is no stranger to the role having performed the part with the Santa Fe Opera, Opera Colorado and companies in Israel and Germany.
He is able to step in at the last minute as he is already in Houston rehearsing the role of Cassio, a young military officer, for Houston Grand Opera’s production of Otello.
Otello opens October 24 and continues through to November 7. Cosi fan tutte runs from October 31 to November 15.
