About Norman...
American tenor, Norman Reinhardt is one of the worlds leading operatic artists. The 2023-2024 season holds some exciting debuts for Norman. This past winter he traveled to Shenzhen, China where he made his role debut as Don Jose in Carmen in collaboration with the Shenzhen Opera and Dance Theater and the Staatsoper Hamburg.
This was followed by a trip to London where Norman made his debut at English National Opera in one of his most performed roles; Tamino in Mozart’s final opera, Die Zauberflöte. Later this season he will sing the role of Pollione in Bellini’s great masterpiece, Norma at Opéra National du Rhin in Strasbourg and then finally make his debut at Northern Ireland Opera in Belfast as Lensky in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin.
In addition to his extensive career as a soloist, Norman has recently been appointed Artist in Residence at Northwestern University, and is also Co-Founder and Music Director for Living Opera, a multi-media startup in the opera and classical music space aimed at producing materials to educate and empower artists everywhere.
Facts about Norman…
Hailing from Hickory, North Carolina. Norman received his bachelors degree from Asbury College followed by the University of Kentucky for two years of Masters studies. His training culminated with the prestigious Houston Grand Opera Young Artist Studio in Texas.
Drawing from his own experiences, he is dedicated to supporting young singers aiming to enhance the industry for future generations by providing strength and encouragement.
